MEJORADA DEL CAMPO
The Mejorada del Campo Town Council, a municipality in Madrid, relied on our products and services to renew the lamps of a large part of its public lighting, replace the optics of the traffic lights and change the interior lighting of municipal buildings for LED technology. All of this with a view to maximising economic and energy savings, creating an environment with high visual comfort and putting an end to the continuous blackouts.
The previous lighting was replaced by high quality LED technology with the following products: GW LED Street Plate, GW Flood Light, GW Eco Street Light, GW Villa Street Light.
MORELLA
At GWLedLighting we manufacture custom-made products and we always get involved in every project. This time the challenge demanded the best of us: to illuminate the “most beautiful and good village in Spain”, an award that was granted to Morella at the end of 2015. One of those villages that you fall in love with, a magical place. The town, with its old quarter and medieval aesthetics, needed to respect the tonality of the light and maintain the charming style that characterises it.
It is the only village lit entirely by GW Flood Light floodlights, all of them strategically placed and oriented. The perimeter of Morella consists of the GW Villa Street Light. Our GW Led Street Plate was also adapted to the existing luminaires.
MONTBLANC
LED technology also allows us to create artistic lighting, enhancing and enhancing the beauty of monuments or façades. The town of Montblanc, in Catalonia, is a great example of this. The walled area of Montblanc is one of the best preserved medieval works of art in Catalonia, a treasure of history in a magnificently maintained and preserved environment. Montblanc Town Council entrusted us with the task of illuminating the wall to enhance the attractiveness of the place.
The product used was the GW Light Bar. Thanks to a DMX system for advanced architectural lighting control, different types of lighting can be programmed.
CAMBRILS
This time, we focused on the harbour and promenade area. The existing lighting was replaced with high quality LED technology. GW Eco Street Light, GW LED Flood Light, GW Lira Street Light and our flagship product GW LED Street Plate were used. The GW LED Street Plate is a light source that achieves the same output with only 40W as a conventional 150W sodium vapour lighting system. All of them offer long life (more than 50,000 hours), a low heat index and are environmentally friendly, as they do not emit harmful agents into the atmosphere.
LLIRIA – PLAZA PARTIDORS
At GWLedLighting we manufacture made-to-measure products and we are always involved in each project. For this, collaboration with architects and designers is essential. In this project in Llíria, GW, in collaboration with the architect of the project “Remodelling of the Partidors Square”, manufactured the complete luminaires, including the lighting that was perfectly adapted to the project requirements.
